commonly produced in the mid-20th century (circa 1950s). It is a functional hearth accessory designed for cleaning and maintaining a fireplace. The handles of each tool feature a distinct Scottish Thistle design, which is a highly collectable style. The set includes a hearth brush, a coal shovel and a poker. The tools and frame are made of metal which I think are chrome coated, there are signs of characteristic vintage patina throughout and the coal shovel is flaking and shows rust spotting. It’s still a very attractive set, the yellow central bar is really unique and gives the item such a great look. Height 15” Width 5” Weight 1.073kg
