beautiful kindling box depicting the highwat man. featuring the tafarn on the lid, the highway man in wait and him riding away with the ill gain gotten's. this is a wooden box with clad of what looks to me like brassed copper on the back is brassed metal and the casters are cast iron. has been repaired not by me with what someone done with the hinges, it works and what i have done is to have treated the box with wood worm killer twice ( cuprinol). haven't seen any sign of woodworm since. 10.5kg in weight. measurements are on photographs and images are a must see. plus heavy odour of cuprinol.
