The fires had no front bezel on them, the piece under the plastic hot coals. I have made this piece myself to cover the gap. It looks OK without it so you have both options. The brass surround was unattached and separate. It is now held in place with velcro stips to make it removable. Stays in place fine. The protective film is still in place covering the brass surround.
