Our Kiln Dried Kindling is made from poplar wood, The species used for making matches, hence burning properties are excellent. This is a British product, with the trees being grown on our farm in Herefordshire where we promote sustainability heavily and always look for ways to protect the environment. We take special care to cut the wood into equal shapes and sizes, so your kindling sticks are delivered to you uniform in shape. Once the wood is cut into the right sizes, We transfer them into our kilns for kiln drying, achieving a moisture content below 12%. These kindling sticks will not fail you when starting a fire. You will only need up to 6 sticks per fire, so this pack should be enough to light at least 16 fires.
