Here is a chimney pot cowl taken from our old chimney pot. It works fine just replacing the cowl with one which hangs the new liner which has been installed. It fits a chimney pot with a diameter of around 8 1/4 to 8 1/2 inches. There are holes on the legs which are used to thread some wire through to secure the cowl onto the pot. The wire bird guard has some corrosion as shown in the photos but I'd say there's plenty of life left in it.
