Antique Heavy Brass Fireside Companion Set. An elegant, large/ heavy Antique three piece fireside companion set. The set consists of a shovel, a poker and pair of tongs. They all have round profile shafts with turned effect handles. The shovel is ornately fretted with floriate pattern. The poke has a spear shaped tip. The tongs have hoof shaped pads and floriate patterned collar with circular boss. Very good condition with nice brass patina. Signs of use on each item in line with age of items. Would make a great addition to an open fire. All three tools are approx 67cm in length.
